Tottenham Hotspur have sacked manager Nuno Espirito Santo, the Premier League club announced on Monday, leaving the London side eighth in the table after a 3-0 home loss to Manchester United over the weekend.
“I know how successful Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to be and I’m sorry we had to make that decision,” said Spurs managing director football Fabio Paratici said in a statement.
