Ismaila Sarr of Watford, center left, celebrates the scoring during the English Premier League Soccer match between Norwich City and Watford at Carrow Road in Norwich, England, on Saturday 18 September.

Ismaila Sarr extended the start of Norwich’s loss to five games in the Premier League season after a 3-1 loss to Watford at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The Hornets’ record signing proved too good for the Norwich defense as their brace kept the game beyond the hosts.

Emmanuel Dennis overtook Tim Krul in the 17th minute after a poor performance.

Teemu Pukki scored his and Norwich’s second league goal of the season to level the competition when he beat the offside trap before sending the ball over Ben Foster 10 minutes before halftime.

Watford took a decisive lead in the 63rd, with Sir defeating Grant Hanley before flicking the ball into the net.

Sarr was then first for a pared shot from Josh King’s time to tap home for his second 10 minutes. The goal was originally dismissed for offside, before a VAR review determined that King was inside when receiving the ball from Tom Cleverly.

Norwich had its toughest starts – against Liverpool, Manchester City, Leicester and Arsenal – but struggled against a fellow promoted side.

United States forward Josh Sargent made his Premier League debut for Norwich.
