Preity Zinta recalls her childhood days in the apple orchards in Shimla

Childhood is a special time for everyone. Every happy memory created during that phase is a treasure of time. On Tuesday, actress Preity Zinta took a moment to relive her childhood memories by visiting her family’s farm in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The actress was excited to see the apple trees there after such a long time. Preeti revealed that she spent the best days of her childhood at the place.

“I was so excited to see the apple trees after such a long time that as soon as the rain stopped, I ran and made this video. Glad I did because a few minutes later it was falling again Moving back home to my family’s farm during apple season was an emotional and exhilarating experience for many years. Growing up, the place was dominated by the larger-than-life presence of my grandfather, grandmother and Rajinder Mamaji and Uma Mamaji. We spent the best days of our childhoods,” she wrote on Instagram.

Recalling her childhood days, Preeti said, “Apple season was always special. So many rules. No food in the grading hall, no disturbing or distracting labor who used to pluck apples in special baskets called kiltas, apples Not playing with or throwing them away, etc. My favorite part was plucking apples and collecting the biggest and smallest apples of the season and of course a glass of freshly squeezed apple juice.” With nostalgia, the ‘Dil Se..’ star posted a video of herself showing off an apple orchard.

“Two years ago, I officially became a farmer and am very proud to be a part of the farming community of the apple belt of Himachal Pradesh. Here is a shout out to the apples of Himachal which are the best apples in the world. I am super stoked and proud of how well everything is in all the farms considering the covid situation, labor shortage etc… So proud to have replanted the orchard. #Ting #Appleorchards #farmlife #familytime #proudhimachali,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Preeti was last seen on screen in the 2018 film “Bhaiyaji Superhit”. The film marks his return after a break of seven years and also stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade.
