Preity Zinta is making her Bollywood comeback with filmmaker Danish Renju’s untitled film, which is based on Kashmir. Reportedly, Preeti will play the role of a courageous Kashmiri mother. Although there is no official confirmation about the film yet, the work on it has already started.
ETimes quoted a source as saying, “The shooting of the film will take place during the first quarter of 2022, but the pre-production of the film has already started and additional casting is also underway. Preeti is ready to take up more projects. In fact, she already has 2-3 films in the pipeline and is looking forward to signing more projects.”
Meanwhile, Preeti announced to become a mother through surrogacy. She and her husband Jean Goodenough recently welcomed twins, a boy and a girl. The actress opted for surrogacy with a picture of herself posing with Jean on social media.
Along with the picture on Instagram, Preity wrote, “Hello everyone, I wanted to share my wonderful news with you all today. Jean and I are so happy and our hearts are filled with so much gratitude and so much love that we welcome our twins, Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough, into our family.
She continued: “We are very excited about this new phase of our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and our surrogates for being a part of this incredible journey. Lots of love and light – Jean, Preeti, Jai and Jiya.”
The actress currently resides in Los Angeles with husband Jean Goodenough, whom she tied the knot on February 29, 2016.
