Congratulations are on the way for Preity Zinta and husband Gene Goodenough as the couple announced the birth of their twins – Jay and Jia – via surrogacy in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Preity shared a picture of herself and her husband, writing: “Hello everyone, I wanted to share my wonderful news with you all today. Jean and I are so happy and our hearts are filled with so much gratitude and so much love As much as we welcome our twins Jay Zinta Goodenough and Jia Zinta Goodenough to our family, we are very excited about this new phase of our lives.” The actress thanked the doctors and their surrogates “for being a part of this incredible journey”: “A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and our surrogates for being a part of this incredible journey.
