Filmmaker Prakash Pawar’s upcoming Marathi period film Baloch starring Praveen Tarde is the talk of the town these days. Recently the teaser of the film was released. The film is going to release on the big screen on 5th May. The teaser of the much-awaited historical epic features Pravin Tarde and Ashok Samarth in aggressive avatars. Baloch also stars Tejashree Jadhav, Vishal Nikam, Bhaurao Nanasaheb Karhade and Rohit Awale in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled by Jeevan Jadhav, Jitesh More and Nemaram Chowdhary along with Santosh Bali Bhongale.
The Marathas who lost the Battle of Panipat are the main characters in the film written and directed by Prakash Pawar. After the Battle of Panipat many Maratha warriors were taken captive and transferred to Balochistan, now divided between Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, where they were made to work as slaves.
