Prashant Kishor will join Trinamool?: Mamata Banerjee said- PK will continue to work with us; Electoral strategists have turned down Congress’s offer

Speculation continues about the future of election strategist Prashant Kishor, who has turned down an offer to join the Congress. Meanwhile, Mamta Banerjee, who reached Delhi, has made a big claim. Mamta said that Prashant will work with her in future also. The TMC chief said that PK will continue to work with him as an election strategist. Here, Prashant Kishor has said that he will decide on his future by May 2.

Prashant Kishor’s company I-PAC is working in Tripura for Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress.

Talking to NDTV, Mamta Banerjee said- Senior leaders have been raising questions about the ideology and role of PK, but we will continue to work with them. PK has worked for Mamata Banerjee’s party in Bengal elections.

Prashant has been seen on TMC’s stage
Prashant Kishor has appeared on the stage during the Trinamool Congress (TMC) state executive meeting in Kolkata last month. Veteran leaders like Mamta Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee, Firhad Hakim, Partha Chatterjee were present along with Prashant on the stage.

On March 8, a meeting of TMC State Executive was held in Kolkata. Prashant Kishor had got a place on the stage in the meeting.

PK said – I will decide by May 2
Prashant Kishor has said in an interview that he will take a decision on his future by May 2. He said that the biggest reason for not joining the Congress is the Empowered Action Group (EAG-24). This group has no constitutional rights within Congress. In such a situation, I could not implement my plan by joining Congress.

Prashant Kishor had said in his suggestion that neither Rahul Gandhi nor Priyanka Gandhi should be given the command of Congress.

No problem working with Mamta: PK
Prashant Kishor said in an interview recently that he did not face many problems in working with Mamta Banerjee. He said that when I was going to Bengal, people used to say – Mamta does not listen to anyone. But whatever I suggested was implemented in TMC.

Prashant Kishor has worked with regional leaders like Arvind Kejriwal, Jaganmohan Reddy, MK Stalin, Nitish Kumar, Uddhav Thackeray and Mamata Banerjee in the country.

Congress had offered to join
After the crushing defeat in 5 states, Congress had called Prashant Kishor to give a presentation on reforms in the party. PK gave presentation to Congress leaders for 9 hours at Sonia Gandhi’s residence. After this Congress formed a committee. On the basis of the report of the committee, Sonia Gandhi offered PK to join the Congress. However, Prashant Kishor turned her down.
