Prajwal Revanna Leaves Germany For Bengaluru

Sources indicate that JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna is on his way to Bengaluru from Germany to participate in the investigation of a sex scandal.

Prajwal Revanna, who departed for Germany following the emergence of alleged sex tapes involving him, has boarded a flight from Munich to Bengaluru.

Prajwal, the NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha seat, is expected to land in Bengaluru early on May 31. He left the country in April when explicit video clips allegedly showing him sexually abusing multiple women began circulating in Karnataka. Hassan went to the polls on April 26, during the second phase of the elections.

Authorities have registered two rape cases against Prajwal so far.

Earlier in the week, the JD(S) MP released a video message, affirming his intention to present himself before the probe team on May 31 and fully cooperate with the investigation. He also declared the allegations against him as baseless. Prajwal Revanna disclosed that he experienced “depression and isolation” following the emergence of the scandal and alleged the involvement of “political forces” in Hassan.

In the nearly three-minute video, Prajwal stated, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other senior Congress leaders began campaigning against me in open forums and politically conspiring against me. I went into depression and isolation.”

Prajwal posted the video days after his grandfather, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, wrote a letter urging him to return to India and face the investigation.
