Deepika Padukone, who is married to actor Ranveer Singh, is expecting her first child after five-and-a-half years of marriage.
Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas got into a fun banter during the pre-release event of Kalki 2898 AD, courtesy of pregnant Deepika Padukone. As Deepika was getting off stage after her introduction, Prabhas rushed to help her by holding her hand. However, Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Ashwatthama in Nag Ashwin’s directorial, playfully hit Prabhas as the veteran actor also got up from his seat to help Deepika, but the ‘Baahubali’ star held her hand.
In a video, shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Deepika left in splits after Prabhas and Amitabh got into the fun banter because of her. Amitabh even jokingly hit Prabhas and said, “oye”. Interestingly, Amitabh protects Deepika’s character in Kalki 2898 AD, whereas Prabhas plays a top hunter who is on a mission to capture her.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan bought the first ticket of Nag Ashwin’s highly-anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD during the movie’s pre-release event. Kalki 2898 AD producer C. Aswani Dutt handed over the ticket to Amitabh on stage. The actor, who paid Rs 500 after receiving the first ticket of the movie, was all praise for the producer for being extremely supportive throughout the film’s shoot.
Amitabh even touched Aswani Dutt’s feet and called him “the most simple and humble human being” he’s ever met. “Every time you are on set, he is the first person to be there. He is at the airport to receive you. Jab kabhi bhi hum koi aisa kaam kar rahe ho jo inko lage nahi karna chahiye kyuki takleef hogi, he’ll be like, ‘don’t make them do these stunts or have you taken precautions or not?’ Nobody thinks like this. Thank you so much sir,” Amitabh said during the event.
Kalki 2898 AD is set to release on June 27, 2024.
