Prabhas’ look from Kannappa was leaked on social media recently. Amidst this, the production house has issued a statement and has offered a Rs 5 lakh reward to those who can help catch with leak source.
After Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas has several projects lined up in the pipeline. Among them is Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa which will include a cameo role by the pan-Indian superstar. While not much is known about his role in the film, his look was recently leaked on X (formerly known as Twitter). Following this incident, the production house has issued a statement and has also offered a Rs 5 lakh reward to whoever helps them catch the perpetrator.
Taking to their X, 24 Frames Factory issued a statement after Prabhas’ look from Kannappa was leaked on social media. The production house talked about how they have been working on the drama for years and how this leak ‘undermines’ their hard work. They urged fans to not circulate the leaked picture and also offered a monetary reward of Rs 5 lakhs to those who can help identify and catch the perpetrator. They said, “For the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa. After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorization.”

They continued, “We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak. We are reaching out to you, our loyal fans, for support. We urge you not to share this leaked image/footage as doing so will make individuals liable for legal action. Anyone with information that can help us trace the origin of this leak will be rewarded with Rs 5,00,000. Please send any leads directly to the official 24 Frames Factory Twitter account.”
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa revolves around a devotee of Shiva. The movie will mark Akshay Kumar’s Telugu debut. Apart from Manchu and Kumar, the movie also stars Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan and Madhoo in key roles.
