Tollywood superstar Prabhas’ upcoming film Adipurush has become the talk of the town ever since it was announced. The posters and trailer of Adipurush have already been released and they have created huge expectations about the film. The director of the film is Om Raut, who is known for his historical drama Tanhaji.
Now an interesting information about this much-awaited film has come to the fore. According to reports, Prabhas, who is playing the role of Lord Ram in the film, has surprised everyone by delivering a two-page monologue in just one take.
Adipurush will be the first Bollywood Prabhas’ project he is playing the role of Raghav (Lord Ram), while Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Lankesh (Raavan) and Kriti Sanon is playing the role of Janaki (Goddess Sita) in the film. Sunny Singh will be seen as the troubled Lakshman of Lord Ram.
To build a physique suitable for the character of Lord Rama in Adipurush, Prabhas trained himself in archery and went through an intense fitness regime.
Adipurush is considered to be Prabhas’ costliest film till date. The epic mythological drama is reportedly being produced on a budget of Rs 300 crore. The film is jointly bankrolled by Retrophiles and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
The trailer of Adipurush was released on October 2, 2022 and received massive critical acclaim. Social media users criticized the film’s weak VFX, and many called for the film’s suspension due to what they claimed to be a misinterpretation of the Ramayana story.
