Prabhas quashed rumours of him getting married soon.

Prabhas reacted to the rumours about him getting married anytime soon at the Kalki 2898 AD’s event.

Actor Prabhas’ personal life has been under intense scrutiny, especially regarding speculation about his potential marriage plans.

After Prabhas’ social media post hinting at ‘someone special’ went viral, it caught the attention of many. This post was actually part of the promotional strategy for his upcoming film, Kalki 2898 AD. However, it inadvertently sparked rumors about his marriage. Prabhas clarified his stance on the matter during the Kalki 2898 AD event in Hyderabad, addressing and dismissing the speculations.

In response to the rumors, Prabhas stated, “‘I am not getting married soon because I don’t want to hurt the feelings of my female fans.”

Speculations had previously swirled around his alleged relationship with his Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty. However, according to a report by Hindustan Times, the actor is currently single and fully dedicated to his work commitments.

Prabhas recently took the internet by storm after he introduced his sidekick Bujji, a futuristic car, from his upcoming movie ‘Kalki 2989 AD’ during a mega event in Hyderabad. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, takes inspiration from Hindu mythology and revolves around Kalki’s mission to save mankind in a post-apocalyptic world.

While talking to the massive crowd of 15,000 people at the event, Prabhas said that he’s grateful to have the opportunity to work with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in ‘Kalki 2989 AD’. The actor’s fans went berserk after he called Deepika “a superstar”. “I am very, very lucky to work with the greatest legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Thanks to the whole team. And Deepika, the most gorgeous and beautiful superstar. We are lucky to have you in the film. Thank you so much,” Prabhas said on stage.

Last year, Nag Ashwin attended India’s Mytho-Sci-fi Epic at IIT Bombay and opened up about the highly-anticipated film. Addressing 2898 AD in the title, Nag Ashwin said, “There is one logic to it which I will reveal closer to the film’s release date. But there is a logic, I don’t know how true or accurate it is.” When asked about ‘Kalki’ in the title, the director said, “It’s a very powerful name and it is something which is connected to present and past, and that’s what the story (of the film) is.” Conincidentally, Kalki is also the tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Further talking about his movie, the director said, “In India, we do not have a lot of sci-fi films. We have done a few time travel films. This one is different because it’s in a whole separate world on its own. Also, in the international sense, it is new because we have not seen India in a future setting or dystopian setting. So now we don’t have to look at London and New York being born, now we can see our cities also.”
