Manvi and Jaya Prada will also have key roles in Prabhas’ new historical fiction film.
After the massive success of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas has announced his next film, an untitled historical fiction project. Besides Prabhas, the film will also star Hanu Raghavapudi, Mithun Chakraborty and Manvi. Mythri Movie Makers took to their social media handle to make this announcement today.
The Instagram post read, “When wars were a battle for supremacy, ONE WARRIOR redefined what they were FOUGHT for ❤️ #PrabhasHanu, a HISTORICAL FICTION set in the 1940s Shoot begins soon .” Check out the post here:
Meanwhile, almost two months after its theatrical release, Kalki 2898 AD is now all set for its OTT release. It has now been revealed that the Prabhas starter will soon stream on Prime Video and Netflix. While the former OTT giant will stream the Telugu version of Nag Ashwin’s directorial, the latter will provide its Hindi translation to the audience.
Applauded for his powerful performance as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Prabhas also added, “Working on Kalki 2898 AD with a visionary director like Naga and an exceptional cast has been truly exhilarating. The film not only pushes the boundaries of storytelling with its blend of mythology and futuristic elements but also delves deep into the complexities of human nature. Released on June 27, Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. The film gained an overwhelming response from the audience and earned over Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office. Previously, Big B also took to his social handle and penned a gratitude note for the success of the film. “T 5062 – the essence of KALKI resounds within and without .. and my gracious gratitude,” he wrote. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the sequel of Kalki.
