Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced that electricity will be cut off in parts of Chennai today to carry out maintenance work in the city.
Power will remain suspended in parts of Chennai from 9 am to 4 pm and supply is expected to resume before 4 pm when the work is completed.
According to a press release given by the company, the following neighborhoods in Chennai will be affected:
Tambaram Kadaperi: Pachimalai Housing Board, TB Hospital, GST Road, GH, New Colony and all nearby areas.
Mylapore: Above Kaliamman Koil 1st Street and 2nd Street, Ramaswamy Street, Thiruvethian Street, Pathri Road, Anna Salai, Greams Road, Spencer Plaza and all the surrounding areas.
Ambattur: KK Road, Venkatapuram, School Road, Vijayalakshmipuram, North Park St, Golden Colony, TVS Colony, Officers Colony, Elango Nagar, Murthy Nagar and all nearby areas.
Ponneri Durainallur: Kavarpettai, Pappakkam, Arni, Durainallur, Medur, Pulicat, Thirupalivanam, Avoor, Mangalam and all the surrounding areas.
