Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced that electricity will be cut off in parts of Chennai today to carry out maintenance work in the city.
Electricity will remain shut in parts of Chennai from 9 am to 2 pm, and supply is expected to resume before 2 pm when the work is completed.
According to a press release given by the company, the following neighborhoods in Chennai will be affected:
Tambaram Cuddaperry: Durga Nagar Main Road, TNHB Colony, Gandhi Road, Kamatchi Nagar, Vinoba Nagar and Thiruvalluvar Street
Adyar: 3rd and 4th Avenues, 32nd, 34th and 35th Cross Roads; 4th Main Road, Alkotkuppam, Arunachalam Street, Karpagam Garden, Fashion Avenue, Rajaji Bhavan, Thiruvalluvar Nagar 2nd Street and surrounding areas
