A possible India vs Pakistan face-off in Hong Kong?

Cricket Hong Kong, China announced that ‘Team India is gearing up to smash it out of the park at HK6’.

The famous Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes, which once featured legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, MS Dhoni, etc., is set to return after 7 years. Organized by Cricket Hong Kong, China (CHK), the 2024 edition will be held between 1st to 3rd November at the Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground. The tournament will host 12 nations competing across three days and according to CHK, the Indian cricket team will be one of the participants.

Taking to microblogging site X on Monday evening, Cricket Hong Kong, China announced that ‘Team India is gearing up to smash it out of the park at HK6’.

According to HK6 rules, each team will consist of 6 players and a game includes a maximum of five six-ball overs per side. Every member of the fielding team, except the wicketkeeper, will bowl an over. However, in the tournament final, each side will bowl five eight-ball overs.

Faheem Ashraf to Lead Pakistan in Hong Kong Sixes

Pakistan have announced a six-player squad for the Hong Kong Sixes. All-rounder Faheem Ashraf will captain the team in this eight-team competition. Senior batter Asif Ali and left-handed batter Hussain Talat are also part of the squad.

PAK Squad: Faheem Ashraf (captain), Aamer Yamin, Asif Ali, Danish Aziz, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Akhlaq (wk) and Shahab Khan.
