Popular Tamil show Velaikaran to go off-air? Fans upset by reports

Vijay TV has been producing and telecasting some of the most popular TV shows that top the TRP charts and keep the audience engaged with their thrilling and thrilling tracks. But when a show goes off-air, many fans are also heartbroken. Rumor has it that the makers of Velaikaran may close the show soon.

Over the years, Star Vijay TV has aired a wide variety of shows including comedies, Bigg Boss Tamil and a whole host of dramas. The shows currently running on the channel include Kuku With Komali, Bharathi Kannamma, Raja Rani, Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar, Velaikaran, Pandian Stores and Bakiyalakshmi.

The hit show Velakaran, which aired on the channel from 2 pm to 2.30 pm, started on December 7, 2020. Actress Sabri Nathan is playing the role of Velan in this serial.

The show was heavily criticized following allegations that the film was a copy of Muthu, which starred Rajinikanth. However, the cast of the show did not let any allegations dampen their enthusiasm and went ahead successfully entertaining the audience and garnering high TRPs.

Apart from Sabrinathan, the show stars Gomathi Priya, K Nataraja, Priya Balakumaran, Satya SK and many more. The show revolves around the main character, Velan, who is a servant in a large family. He has respectful relations with all the members of the family, especially the matriarch Vishalakshi.

The show boasts of a great fan base. However, recent reports indicate that the show may go off-air. Not only the show but its lead male cast is also extremely popular with the masses, and hence these reports of Velaikaran going off-air have left fans very upset.

But since the makers have not made any official announcement, fans can heave a sigh of relief.
