There is a political ruckus over the coal mine in Punjab. This political fight started over a closed coal mine in Jharkhand. First CM Bhagwant Mann claimed that we have opened this mine. In response to this, Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Vading said that CM Mann is lying. We had won the case of this Khan during the Congress government. Shortage of coal has created power crisis in Punjab. Due to which now the political fight has started.

Mine was not started due to money setting: CM Mann
CM Mann had said that the arrangement for electricity has been completed. Punjab’s coal mine in Jharkhand was closed since 2015. Punjab has bought it. After this, coal was being taken from here and there, so that the money could be set up. We’ve got that mine done. I will go to Jharkhand in the last week of May to inaugurate the mine.

Congress’s answer: Congress won the case from SC
Punjab Congress chief Raja Vading said that CM Bhagwant Mann gives statements without verifying the facts. The coal mine he is talking about was closed due to a court case. The Congress government won the case from the Supreme Court in September 2021. What is your contribution in that? Vading has also shared the cutting of the news of 21 September 2021 to confirm his claim.

Details of coal mine also given
The Congress President also gave the details of the coal mine. In which it was told that in 2014 the allotment of 213 coal mines was canceled by the Supreme Court. This also included Khan, who was allotted to Punjab in 2001 in Pachwara. In 2015, this mine was allotted to PSPCL. Its tender was floated but failed due to legal reasons. In 2018, PSPCL selected DBL company to operate it. In 2019, the High Court gave a verdict in favor of the old company, due to which Punjab went to the Supreme Court. In 2021, the Supreme Court upheld the method adopted by PSPCL, setting aside the order of the High Court.
