actor Sidharth ShuklaThe death on September 2 has shocked the nation. The actor is believed to have suffered a massive heart attack and died in his sleep. Siddharth’s family had reportedly given a statement to the police that there was no conspiracy in his death. Now according to a report, the police have registered a case of ‘accidental death’ on Saturday for his death. This is because the actor’s autopsy results came back ‘inconclusive’ and the final word on the matter will be released after a chemical analysis and histopathology report of the actor’s viscera.

According to a report in the Indian Express, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sangramsinh Nishandar confirmed the information, though he declined to comment further on the matter. “After the CA or histopathology report confirms that he died under natural circumstances, then the investigation will be closed as natural death,” the report quoted another police officer as saying.

The report also quoted the head of the forensic department, Dr R Sukhdev, as saying that he was brought dead to the hospital and his post-mortem was conducted on Thursday afternoon. He further said that the cause of his death is unknown.

A police officer told the publication that no internal or external injuries were found on his body. “Until we get the CA or histopathology report from the FSL, the cause of death will remain inconclusive,” an official told the publication.

Meanwhile, the police said that Siddhartha complained of chest pain at 9 am at his residence in Oshiwara. He was then taken to Cooper Hospital in Juhu where he was declared brought dead on arrival at 10.30 am.

Siddharth is survived by his mother Rita Shukla and his two sisters. His last rites took place at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai in the presence of his family members and close friends.
