While addressing an election rally in Maharashtra’s Palghar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed that it has become difficult for Pakistan to save PoK

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) will become part of India within six months of Prime Minister Narendra Modi assuming the office for the third time. While addressing an election rally in Maharashtra’s Palghar, UP CM stressed that it has become difficult for Pakistan to save PoK.

“We will not worship our enemy. If someone kills our people we will not worship them but give them an answer that they deserve. It has become difficult for Pakistan to save Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Let PM Modi become the Prime Minister for the third time and within six months PoK will become part of India…” he said.

Yogi Adityanath’s statements come amid the media frenzy over hundreds of protesters taking to the streets of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) over high inflation, heavy taxation, electricity shortage and demand for a merger with India a few days ago.

Earlier this week on Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah referred to protests in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and said “PoK is part of India and we will take it”.

“After the abrogation of Article 370 by the government in 2019 peace has returned to Kashmir. But now we witness protests in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Earlier slogans of Azadi were heard here, now the same slogans are heard in PoK. Earlier stones were pelted here, now stones are pelted in PoK,” he said, addressing a rally in Serampore.

Shah also slammed Congress leaders for not supporting the demand to take over PoK and said, “Congress leaders like Mani Shankar Aiyar say it should not be done as they have an atom bomb. But let me say this Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is part of India and we will take it.”
