New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh, was warmly received by the local people on Thursday (June 16, 2022). The Prime Minister held a roadshow in Dharamsala this morning and is scheduled to preside over the conference later in the day, which will also be attended by Union Minister for Housing and Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri. During his visit, PM Modi was welcomed with various cultural programs in the hill state. Various cultural groups performed with their musical instruments in their traditional costumes and welcomed the Prime Minister who greeted people in an open jeep during the roadshow.

After Himachal, the Prime Minister will visit his home state Gujarat on June 18 and he will lay the foundation stone for the permanent campus of Central University of Gujarat to be built on 100 acres of land at Kundela village near Vadodara. State government.
The Gujarat government has allocated land, and the Center has allocated Rs 743 crore for the construction of the Gujarat Central University (Central University of Gujarat) campus in Vadodara, which has been operating from its temporary campus in Gandhinagar since 2009.
