After reaching Naval Airport INS Garuda, PM Modi will proceed to the Sacred Hearts College Ground at Thevara in the city to address the Yuvam 2023 Conclave organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party. PM Modi will also participate in the road show from the airport to the venue of the conclave.

After an overnight stay in Kochi, the Prime Minister will leave for the state capital Thiruvananthapuram, where he will flag off the newly introduced Vande Bharat Express between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod. He will also launch various development works worth over Rs 3200 crore on the occasion.

CPI(M) protests in Kerala

However, ahead of his visit to Kerala to participate in “Yuvam-23”, the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), the youth wing of the ruling CPI(M), has asked him a hundred questions on various issues. State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M), MV Govindan led a protest in Kollam, while Left Democratic Front (LDF) convenor EP Jayarajan launched the event in Thiruvananthapuram.

The CPI(M) leaders sought answers from PM Modi on various issues, including the recent Pulwama row triggered by the revelations of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik.

Govindan hit out at PM Modi, who will be in the state for the next few days, saying the prime minister should respond to Malik’s shocking revelations on the Pulwama attack in which 40 soldiers lost their lives.

He said that the BJP and Narendra Modi should answer the conspiracy behind the Pulwama attack. Govindan said, “Malik made some startling revelations. He said that Narendra Modi and other senior leaders cannot shirk responsibility for the martyrdom of 40 Indian soldiers… He said that Modi did not let him speak.”

Govindan said that neither the Prime Minister nor the BJP government has yet responded to Malik’s allegations. Govindan said, “Only fascists can plan a terrorist attack to promote nationalism and take advantage of it for elections.”

Addressing the crowd in Thiruvananthapuram, Jayarajan asked PM Modi to visit Kerala more often to see the development in the state. Referring to the new Vande Bharat Express flagged off by PM Modi on Tuesday, Jayarajan said a new train is welcome, but it should not affect the regular timing of daily services affecting commuters.

“Unlike BJP and Congress who oppose all kinds of developments, we welcome the train as it is ultimately for the welfare of the people. However, BJP does not consider trains as a service to the people, rather it is used for its political part of.” deceit,” Jayarajan said.

CPI-M puts up posters demanding answers on Pulwama attack

DYFI has launched a massive campaign asking PM Modi 100 questions on various issues facing the youth and the country such as unemployment, low wages, sale of public sector companies, among others. Hundreds of flex boards questioning PM Modi have been put up by DYFI next to BJP boards welcoming the Prime Minister.

DYFI All India President and Rajya Sabha MP AA Rahim said the party is asking hundred questions to PM Modi, who has not faced a single press meet in the last nine years.

DYFI has also launched a QR code, which will ask questions to the Prime Minister. The questions included topics related to Pulwama attack, demonetisation, 2002 Gujarat riots, horse-trading of MLAs, PM Cares Fund, encounter politics and rising fuel prices.
