Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to leave for his first foreign tour of this year on May 2, three days later. Prime Minister Modi will visit three European countries Germany, Denmark and France in three days on this tour being held in the midst of Ukraine crisis.

During this, he will hold 25 meetings, in which he will meet 8 world leaders from 7 countries from political point of view, as well as meet business heads of 50 companies to promote investment in the country.

The visit assumes significance in view of India’s neutral stance in the United Nations on the Ukraine crisis and the solidarity of European countries against Russia. It is believed that such a tight schedule of the Prime Minister has been fixed only to clarify India’s side in this quick visit.

PM will spend 65 hours in all three countries
PTI news agency quoted government sources as saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend 65 hours in the three countries during his 3-day visit. During this, in his meetings with 8 world leaders, some will be bilateral and some will have several leaders present at the same time. In between these meetings, time has also been taken for his meeting with 50 global business leaders.

The PM will first reach Germany on May 2, where he will stay for the night. After this, they will go to Denmark on 3rd May and stay for the night. The PM will return on 4 May and during this time he will reach France on the way, where he will meet with French leaders and business community in Paris.

Even though Prime Minister Modi has a very tight meeting schedule on this quick tour, but in spite of this, he will follow the tradition of meeting the Indian diaspora on every foreign visit. According to the PTI report, the PM will also meet with thousands of Indians living in Germany, Denmark and France.
