New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 10 am on Friday, a day after India made history on Covid-19 vaccination. India is the only second country after China to have reached the one billion Covid-19 vaccination milestone. This will be PM Modi’s 10th Address to the nation since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Modi said the historic figure was achieved in nine months despite many doubting the country’s capability.
According to the government, about three-quarters of adults in the country of 1.3 billion people have received a shot and about 30 percent have been fully vaccinated.
