Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Wednesday evening after he complained of weakness followed by fever.

“I pray for Dr. Manmohan Singh ji’s good health and speedy recovery,” Modi tweeted.
Earlier the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Manmohan Singh and inquired about his health.
A doctor at the hospital said, “Singh’s condition is stable.”
In a tweet in Hindi, Mandaviya said that he met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at AIIMS, New Delhi and inquired about his health.
The Health Minister also wished Singh a speedy recovery.
The 89-year-old former prime minister was admitted to a private ward at the Cardioneuro Center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and is under the care of a team of cardiologists led by Dr. Nitish Naik, said the doctor.
Singh had a fever on Monday and had recovered, but had become weak and was on fluids.
