PM Modi will release the next installment of PM-Kisan on Monday, 9.75 crore farmers will benefit

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the next installment of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme through video conferencing on Monday.

This will allow transfer of an amount exceeding Rs. 19,500 crore to more than 9.75 crore beneficiary farmer families, said a release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Prime Minister Modi will interact with farmers-beneficiaries during the program to be held at 12:30 pm

The Prime Minister will also address the nation on this occasion.

Under the PM-Kisan scheme, a financial benefit of Rs. 6,000 per year is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal four-monthly instalments. 2,000 each.

Funds are directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

In this scheme, the honorarium amounting to more than Rs. So far Rs 1.38 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer families.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will also be present on this occasion.

  • After this go to the Farmers Corner option on the homepage
  • Select the Beneficiary List option
  • Select your State, District, Sub District, Block
  • Click on get report
  • After this the complete list of beneficiaries of your village will appear in which you can see your name

Ujjwala 2.0 (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana -PMUY)

According to another statement of the PMO, Prime Minister Modi will also launch Ujjwala 2.0 (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana-PMUY) by handing over LPG connections in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh through video conferencing at 12.30 pm on August 10.

During the program on Tuesday, Modi will interact with the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme and will also address the nation.

The provision of one crore additional LPG connections under PMUY scheme was announced in the Union Budget for the financial year 2021-22.

These one crore additional PMUY connections (under Ujjwala 2.0) are aimed at providing deposit-free LPG connections to low-income households that could not be covered under the first phase of PMUY.

Along with a deposit-free LPG connection, Ujjwala 2.0 will provide the first refill and hotplate free of cost to the beneficiaries. The enrollment process will require minimal paperwork and in Ujjwala 2.0, migrants will not be required to submit a ration card or address proof.

The PMO said a self-declaration would suffice for both ‘family declaration’ and ‘address proof’.

Ujjwala 2.0 will help achieve the Prime Minister’s vision of universal access to LPG, it said.

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on the occasion.
