Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will visit Chennai today, will dedicate completed projects to the nation and lay the foundation stone for 11 projects, including a highway project between Bengaluru and Chennai, worth over Rs 31,000 crore.
These projects cover major infrastructure such as railways, petroleum, housing and roads. PM Modi will dedicate 5 projects worth over Rs 2,960 crore to the nation in the presence of Governor RN Ravi, Chief Minister MK Stalin, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Ashwini Vaishnav.
This will be PM Modi’s first official visit to Tamil Nadu since the DMK came to power last year.
