UP Global Investors Summit 2023: Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow is being decked up for the three-day ‘Global Investors Summit 2023’, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (February 10).

Several ministers from the central and state government and several prominent industrialists are expected to participate in the February 10-12 event.

According to information provided by the state government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and State Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi as well as industrialists Mukesh Ambani, K Chandrasekaran, Kumar Mangalam Birla And Anand Mahindra will address the inaugural session of the summit.

  • Huge hoardings with pictures of PM Modi and CM Adityanath have been put up on these routes.
  • The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has deployed additional police and traffic personnel on the roads leading to Vrindavan Yojna for the event.
  • Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said, “Along with the policemen of Lucknow Police Commissionerate, 28 IPS, 68 PPS and over 5,500 additional police personnel have been deployed to ensure security arrangements.
  • Thirty companies of PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary) and parliamentary forces have also been deployed to look after the order, he said, adding that commando units of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) would also be deployed at strategic locations.
  • Arrangements have been made to improve the traffic system. An alert has also been issued to every district. He said that proper arrangements are being made for patrolling on the borders of the districts.
