PM Modi will flag off 7 initiatives of Brahma Kumaris today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver the keynote address at the national launch ceremony of ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav Se Swarnim Bharat Ke Ore’ via video conferencing on Thursday at 10:30 am, informed the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday. According to the PMO, the event will unveil the annual initiative dedicated to the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by the Brahma Kumaris, which includes over 30 campaigns and over 15,000 programs and events.
During the program, the Prime Minister will flag off seven initiatives of Brahma Kumaris. These include My India Healthy India, Atmanirbhar Bharat: Self-reliant farmers, Women: India’s flag bearers, Power of Peace Bus Campaign, Andha Bharat Cycle Rally, United India Motor Bike Campaign and Green Initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
In the My India Healthy India initiative, several events and programs will be organized in medical colleges and hospitals with a focus on spirituality, wellness and nutrition.
These include organizing medical camps, cancer screenings, conferences for doctors and other health care workers, etc.
Under Atmanirbhar Bharat, self-reliant farmers, 75 farmers empowerment campaigns, 75 farmer conferences, 75 continuous yogic agriculture training programs and many other such initiatives will be organized for the welfare of farmers. Under Women: Flag Bearers of India, the initiative will focus on women empowerment and social change through empowerment of the girl child.
The Power of Peace Bus campaign will cover 75 cities and tehsils and will organize an exhibition on the positive transformation of today’s youth. Depicting the relationship between heritage and environment, Andha Bharat Cycle Rally will be organized at various heritage sites.
The United India Motor Bike campaign will be organized from Mount Abu to Delhi and will cover multiple cities. Initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will include monthly cleanliness drives, community cleaning programs and awareness campaigns.
During the event, a song dedicated to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav will also be released by Grammy Award winner Ricky Cage.
Brahma Kumaris is a worldwide spiritual movement dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal. Established in India in 1937, Brahma Kumari has spread to over 130 countries.
This program is being organized on the occasion of 53rd ascension anniversary of Prajapita Brahma, the founder father of Brahma Kumaris.
