To rein in the courageous and inventive spirit of the energetic group, a new teaching method guided by the standards of Mission Karmayogi was planned. The spirit of “Sabka Prayas” lay emphasis on transforming a student/civilian to officer trainee into a local officer through drives like interactions with Padma awardees and village tours for a vivid encounter of rural India.

Official trainees also visited villages in remote/line areas to understand the difficulties faced by the people living here. The modular approach to the curriculum was taken in line with the rule of continuous review learning and independent learning.

Apart from health tests, wellness tests were also conducted to help transform an ‘exam cumbersome student’ into a ‘healthy young civil servant’. Each of the 488 officer trainees was given Krav Maga and first level preparation in various sports.
