Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday to congratulate him soon after the latter was elected as India’s Vice President.
In a statement, PM Modi said, “We are proud to be having a Kisan Putra Vice President who has excellent legal knowledge and intellectual prowess.”
BJP President JP Nadda also met Dhankhar following his victory.
