PM Modi meets French Senate Gerard Larcher, After Arrival in Paris

PM Modi’s visit to France: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met the President of the French Senate, Gérard Larcher, at the Senate building in Paris.

The Prime Minister’s visit to France proved to be a momentous event as he was accorded a ceremonial welcome on his arrival at the airport. PM Modi was invited by French President Emmanuel Macron as the guest of honor to attend the Bastille Day parade in Paris on April 14.

Adding to the grandeur, an Indian tri-services contingent had the honor of participating in the Bastille Day parade, while the Indian Air Force displayed its might with a captivating fly-past during the occasion.

Significantly, PM Modi’s visit to France coincides with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the “Strategic Partnership” between India and France, highlighting the enduring bond between the two countries. On reaching Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a warm welcome by the Indian diaspora.

Slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” were raised on the arrival of PM Modi. Besides this, many people were seen taking selfies with the PM, while some sang songs and presented him with gifts.

In a heart-warming display of unity in diversity, people from different religions and regions gathered in Paris to show their affection for PM Modi. Despite their different backgrounds, they all came together at a hotel, united in their admiration for the Prime Minister.

Amidst the crowd, an Indian woman expressed her deep appreciation for PM Modi by dedicating a heartfelt song to him. Overwhelmed with emotions, she could not control her emotions and took a selfie with the Prime Minister and captured the precious moment which she would cherish forever.

PM Modi’s arrival in Paris was eagerly awaited, and was greeted with enthusiasm by both the Indian community and the local population.
