The Union Budget to be presented in Parliament on February 1 will be the last full budget of the Modi government before the 2024 general elections.

Before the Union Budget, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Presided over the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers here on Sunday.

Sources said the functioning of several ministries and policy initiatives taken by the Narendra Modi government will be reviewed and discussed.

This comes amid talks of a cabinet reshuffle and ahead of assembly elections in nine states due this year.
