A new turn was seen in the politics of the country on Wednesday. There was a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar. The meeting took place in Delhi and lasted for about 20 minutes. It was only after this meeting that there was speculation about a change in the politics of Maharashtra. However, Sharad Pawar himself rejected them. On the question of leading the national opposition, Sharad Pawar said that he has told many times that he is not interested in taking up this responsibility.
About 2 hours after the meeting, he gave a statement on this. Sharad Pawar said that he has spoken to Modi regarding ED’s action on Sanjay Raut. Pawar told the Prime Minister that if central agencies take such a step, they will have to take responsibility. Pawar also questioned whether action was taken against Sanjay Raut because he was speaking against the government.
Confident of winning the Mahavikas Aghadi government in the next elections
Speaking about the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra, he said that it is the responsibility of those in the government not to make anyone feel ignored or neglected. He said that when we sit together and talk face to face, no such issue arises. He also said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government will come back to the government after the next assembly elections.
Kashmir Files film was told propaganda
A few days back, Sharad Pawar was in discussion about the film Kashmir Files. He had said that this film is being used to blame the Congress party and an attempt is being made to show that whatever happened at that time, Congress was ruling the country.
He further said that if we look at the history of then, when the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits took place, Vishwanath Pratap Singh was leading the country at the center. Some people of BJP who are now making noise on this issue were in support of VP Singh at that time.
