National Doctor’s Day, Chartered Accountant’s Day: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took to Twitter to appreciate the contribution of doctors on National Doctors’ Day. He exemplified courage, selflessness and resilience of the highest order. National Doctor’s Day is celebrated every year on 1st July in the memory of the famous Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, who was also the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Roy’s birth anniversary and death anniversary falls on this day.

In another tweet, PM Modi appreciated the services of Chartered Accountants on CA Day. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was established on 1 July 1949.
