PM lays foundation stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut

In a scathing attack on the previous government in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that earlier criminals used to play their game, but now the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government is playing “jail-jail” with them. The Prime Minister addressed a public meeting after laying the foundation stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut district of the state.

He said, ‘In the previous government, criminals used to play their game, mafia used to play their game. Earlier there were tournaments of illegal grabbing (of land). Those who used abusive words (‘Fabtiyan’) on daughters roamed freely. People living in Meerut and adjoining areas can never forget how houses were set on fire, and the earlier government used to indulge in the games of criminals and mafia,” said Prime Minister Modi.

He said the result of these games played by previous governments in UP was that people were forced to leave their ancestral homes and there was an “escape”.

Now Yogi’s (Adityanath) ji’s government is playing ‘jail-jail’ with such criminals. Five years ago, the daughters of Meerut were afraid to leave the house after dusk. Today the daughters of Meerut are making the name of the whole country bright. ‘) should be encouraged. It should not be overlooked as ‘boys make mistakes’ when youth make mistakes.
