PM KISAN 11th installment likely to come soon: Know whose account will get Rs 2,000, who will not?

PM Kisan Yojana 11th Installment: Farmers are likely to get a good news by the end of the month as the central government is likely to release 11th installment of PM Kisan Till 31st May i.e. till next week. Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi, or PM Kisan The scheme is a special campaign launched by the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. below PM Kisan YojanaEligible landholding farmer families get Rs 2,000 every four months, which is Rs 6,000 annually. This money is made available every year in three installments in April-July, August-November and December-March. PM Kisan Yojana was launched in December 2018 to provide pension to such farmer families who are in need of financial assistance.

according to PM Kisan website, it is a central sector scheme with 100% funding from the Government of India. However, there are some rules regarding PM Kisan schemes, and not every farmer is eligible to apply for it. It is available only to smallholder farmers. Here are the details regarding the eligibility criteria of PM Kisan Yojana.

Which farmers can apply for PM Kisan Yojana?

Any government scheme has a certain eligibility criteria, on the basis of which benefits are released. Small and marginal farmers who are Indian citizens are eligible for PM Kisan Yojana. In addition, all the landholder farmer families having cultivable land in their name are eligible to get benefits under the scheme.

Who cannot apply for PM Kisan Yojana?

According to the PM Kisan website, these are the categories that cannot be availed by PM Kisan:

a) All institutional land holders

b) Farmer families in which one or more of its members are:
Categories:-

I. past and present holders of constitutional posts

ii. Former and present Ministers/Ministers of State and former/present members of Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha/State Legislative Assemblies/State Legislative Councils, former and present TTs/Ayers of Municipal Corporations, former and present Presidents of District Panchayats.

iii. All serving or retired officers and employees of Central and State Government Ministries or Offices

iv. All persons receiving monthly pension of Rs.10,000 or more

v. All persons paying income tax in the previous assessment year

vi. Working professionals like doctors, professors, engineers etc.

PM Kisan eKYC

While the eligible farmers are eagerly waiting for their four-monthly allotment, the government has notified that the beneficiaries will have to mandatorily submit their eKYC to avail the PM Kisan benefits. A note on the PM Kisan website said, “The deadline for eKYC for all PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till May 31, 2022.” Earlier this deadline was fixed on May 22 this year. The government has also made it clear that the process is mandatory. Hence, it is advised that the eligible farmers complete their PM KISAN eKYC at the earliest to get their next installment in a hassle free manner.
