Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India Energy Week 2023 in Bengaluru today. During this time E20 petrol will also be launched, which is made up of 20% ethanol. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also introduce a solar cooking system that runs on solar energy. Energy Week will run from 6 to 8 February.
PM Modi will hand over the helicopter factory of HAL to the country in Tumakuru, Karnataka. It is the biggest helicopter factory in Asia. More than 1000 helicopters will be made here in 20 years.
PM told about Karnataka tour by tweeting
PM Modi gave information about Karnataka tour by tweeting on Sunday. He said- I will be in Karnataka tomorrow (on February 6). On reaching Bengaluru, I will participate in India Energy Week 2023. After that I will go to Tumkuru to launch several development works and lay foundation stone of various projects.
Energy Week aims to highlight India’s energy to the world
According to an official statement, the 3-day long Energy Week aims to highlight India’s move towards renewable energy. It will be attended by more than 30 ministers from around the world. More than 30,000 delegates and 500 spokespeople will come to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to India’s energy and its future.
PM Modi will introduce E20 petrol
During this, PM Modi will launch E20 petrol with 20% ethanol blend. E20 petrol will be sold across 11 states and union territories. The government has set a target of selling only E20 petrol till the year 2025. Apart from this, PM will also present a special dress ‘Unbottled’ made for the employees posted at the petrol pump. Indian Oil has prepared this dress by recycling plastic bottles.
Will also present a model of the cooking system
PM Modi will also dedicate a twin-cook top model of Indian Oil’s indoor solar cooking system. This system will be a revolutionary indoor solar cooking solution to create a scrumptious meal. In this, food can be cooked with both solar energy and auxiliary energy.
Will inaugurate the biggest helicopter factory
Asia’s biggest helicopter factory is ready. Today PM Modi will hand over the helicopter factory of HAL to the nation in Tumakuru, Karnataka. It is a greenfield helicopter factory, which will enhance the helicopter manufacturing capacity and eco-system. Defense Ministry told that in the next 20 years, more than 1000 helicopters will be made here with a turnover of 4 lakh crores.
The 615-acre factory will initially produce Light Utility Helicopters (LUH). The LUH is an indigenously designed and developed 3-tonne class single engine helicopter. Initially, about 30 helicopters will be made in this factory every year. Then every year its capacity can be increased at the rate of 60 to 90 helicopters. Officials said that the LUH has been flight tested.
