Once again a big game is being played with Sikh faith in Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib of Pakistan. Here in the gurudwara, devotees are being given prasad (kada) in dona made from cigarette wrappers. Not only this, the picture of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib and Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib is also printed on one side of this leaf. Earlier, the matter of photo shoot of a Pakistani model without covering her head in the gurudwara has also come to the fore.

This is a big sin, Imran should send those who play with him in jail.
Former president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGMC) and BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the Sikhs were deeply pained that a great deal is being played with our faith at the religious place. What can be a bigger sin than offering prasad in two leaves made from tobacco? Sirsa told Pak PM Imran Khan that Sikhs are in less number in Pakistan, so we are not being heard. He said that these people should be caught immediately and put in jail.

There was also a ruckus on the photo shoot of the Pakistani model
Earlier, model Swala Lala of Lahore, Pakistan has been involved in controversies by doing a photo shoot at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib. He didn’t even cover his head. However, after the matter came to light, the model apologized. Apart from this, the clothes store for which it was modeled also removed the pictures. After this, the Government of India had also objected to this and Pakistan had given assurance of not allowing this to happen in future, but again similar action has been done.

Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, a major center of Sikh faith
Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the last days of his life here in Kartarpur, Pakistan. Baba Nanak was the first Guru of Sikhism. Not only Sikh society but everyone has immense reverence for him. During the partition of India-Pakistan, this area went to Pakistan. Despite this, there was always a desire for darshan here in the mind of the Sikhs.

This Gurdwara Sahib is just 7 km away from Gurdaspur in Punjab. Keeping in view the faith of Sikhs, the Kartarpur Corridor has been built here after the consent of the Government of India and Pakistan. Through this, Indian pilgrims can easily come and go. This corridor was closed for a long time due to Corona. It was opened a few days back on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
