Once again a big game is being played with Sikh faith in Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib of Pakistan. Here in the gurudwara, devotees are being given prasad (kada) in dona made from cigarette wrappers. Not only this, the picture of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib and Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib is also printed on one side of this leaf. Earlier, the matter of photo shoot of a Pakistani model without covering her head in the gurudwara has also come to the fore.

Former president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGMC) and BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the Sikhs were deeply pained that a great deal is being played with our faith at the religious place. Earlier, model Swala Lala of Lahore, Pakistan has been involved in controversies by doing a photo shoot at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib. He didn’t even cover his head. However, after the matter came to light, the model apologized. Apart from this, the clothes store for which it was modeled also removed the pictures. After this, the Government of India had also objected to this and Pakistan had given assurance of not allowing this to happen in future, but again similar action has been done.

This corridor was closed for a long time due to Corona. It was opened a few days back on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
