Plane Carrying Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis Returns to Mumbai Due to Bad Weather

A state government aircraft carrying Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis returned to Mumbai in Jalgaon district on Monday due to bad weather. Shinde and Fadnavis were traveling to Jamner in Jalgaon district, about 415 km from Mumbai, to participate in an event called “Banjara Kumbh 2023”, where Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was a special speaker.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) official said the plane had taken off from Mumbai but had to return due to bad weather. He said Shinde and Fadnavis later joined the program through video conferencing. A large number of leaders of Banjara community and office bearers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh were present on the occasion.
