The job cuts came from across the San Francisco-based company’s teams, although not all were affected to the same degree.
A company spokeswoman confirmed the job cuts to Reuters, saying, “We are making organizational changes going forward against our company’s priorities and our long-term strategy.” However, the official declined to confirm the number of job cuts.
The spokesperson added that Pinterest will support all affected employees with severance packages, benefits and other services during the transition.
