New Delhi: The most recent viral craze has been the Artificial Intelligence (AI) trend that has taken over social media platforms. Artist Jayesh Sachdev has since posted some AI-generated images that show the astronauts as brides. The pictures were posted on Mr Sachdev’s personal Instagram profile as well as on the page of his design firm Quirk Box. “The week of astronaut bridal couture. When the brief is “out of this world fashion,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which has received nearly 8,000 likes and many comments.
The photographs show the female astronauts as a newly married couple. The AI model is adorned with decorations such as flowers and ornaments. Internet users were quick to react to the pictures. “This is amazing! This kind of representation really hits home for me as a future astronaut! I applaud you for creating these pieces of art” commented one user. Another person commented, “Amazing and truly ‘out of this planet’,” while a third said, “I think it implies that you don’t need to be bound by norms just because you are a bride.” You can still dream big. Fly to space and become an astronaut.”
Earlier, a visual created by AI platform Mid Journey showing realistic but disturbing pictures of people attending a house party was posted by an artist. The pictures show spontaneous, happy events at a house party. However, with closer inspection, missing and insensitive body parts of party goers can be discovered that are not actually present.
