MumbaiPopular TV actress Charu Asopa, who is best known for her role in ‘Mere Angne Mein’ is busy celebrating the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with full gusto and enthusiasm. Charu and her husband Rajeev Sen are expecting their first child together after years of marriage.

The ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress took to social media to share a glimpse of her celebrations. She posted two pictures in which she can be seen posing in front of her Ganpati idol. Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajiv is also seen in a picture.

“Ganpati Bappa Morya Mangal Murti Morya. Greetings from my Instagram family wishing you a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, wrote Asopa. He extended his best wishes to his followers by sharing the post on his official Instagram handle.

The soon-to-be mother looked radiant in a yellow sari, which she teamed with gold jewellery. She flashed her million-dollar smile as she posed for the camera. The pregnancy glow is easily visible on her face in the photo. Fans have flooded their wishes in the comment section.

Rajeev also posted a photo on social media in which Charu can be seen flaunting his baby bump. He wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Bappa come home.”

How did Charu Asopa announce her pregnancy?

The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ star posted a series of pictures flaunting her baby bump to announce the arrival of her first child. She wrote in her caption, “Grateful, blessed, grateful”. Several TV celebs commented on the post and wished soon-to-be parents.

Charu Asopa’s baby shower pictures

Last month, Sushmita Sen and her family members hosted a baby shower ceremony for Charu. Sen’s kids Renee and Alisa also attended the fun-filled event.

Asopa shared pictures from the ceremony with the caption, “Some baby shower ritual photos.”

Charu and Rajeev tied the knot in June 2019 in a lavish ceremony in Goa. They married according to Bengali and Rajasthani customs in the presence of their loved ones.
