Petrol prices in Pakistan hiked by PKR 14.84/Litre with rising inflation

Addressing a press conference, Pakistan’s Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said that the former government led by Imran Khan is the ultimate reason why Pakistan is currently facing this economic crisis.

He said that the government is not in a position to bear any more subsidies. In such a situation, they were left with no option but to increase the prices.

He further said that the brunt of the former government is to bear the brunt of these sour rewards going down the economy and the current losses against the International Monetary Fund.
