Javed’s wife was gifted a house by his father
Allahabad High Court lawyers have filed a petition in the court against the bulldozer action at Javed’s house. The petition states that the house was in the name of Parveen Fatima, wife of Javed, who was given this house by her father. Whereas the administration had issued a notice in the name of Javed. The lawyers have demanded from the court that the administration should get the house rebuilt and give compensation to the family.
Seema Azad raised questions on the notice
Social activist Seema Azad raised questions on the notice issued by Prayagraj Development Authority ie PDA. He shared the receipt and house tax notice of water department at the address 39/C/2A/1 Kareli on social media. They say that if it was illegal, then for what was the house tax being taken till now. Seema has also accused of issuing notice in back date.

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, national general secretary of Tanzeem Ulema-e-Islam, said, “Javed’s house was demolished due to retaliation. For 15 years, it was built at the same place, then where was the PDA, officers and employees went through the same route thousands of times. Didn’t anyone notice?”
Maulana Shahabuddin said, “In Islam, husband has no right over wife’s property. Wife’s children have rights. Wife has nothing to do with the case in which Javed has been made an accused. Similar action will be taken.” Then what will the court decide?
Maulana Shahabuddin said, the government has retaliated. The house was in the name of the wife and the notice was sent to the husband.
Now know the side of administration
Prayagraj district DM Sanjay Khatri said, the administration has taken action following all the guidelines. The house that was demolished was built illegally. His map was not passed. District SSP Ajay Kumar claimed that a 315 bore pistol, 12 bore illegal pistol and several cartridges were found at Javed’s house. Some such documents were also found which made harsh comments on the judiciary.
Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi issued a press release regarding the rules for operating the bulldozers. in which it is written,
- According to the rules of the UP Town Planning and Development Act 1973, there is a mention of ordering the demolition of the building under section 27 of the Act.
- Illegally acquired property can be demolished or confiscated under Section 14A of the UP Gangster Act.
- There is such a provision in section 67 of the Revenue Code to prevent encroachment, illegal occupation on government land.
- If the person in illegal occupancy of government property refuses to comply with the eviction order, the authority may use force to do so.
