People of J&K cannot be deceived by family secrets, false promises: JKNPF chief says hundreds join party to strengthen it

Party president Sheikh Muzaffar said hundreds of people joined the Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF) during a political campaign in Srinagar on Sunday to mark a new political beginning in Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that the overwhelming participation is the belief that people cannot be fooled by ‘family raj’ and false promises.

However, he said that the JKNPF leadership would take a final call on including him in the party.

“Those who believed in the politics of making their lives prosperous and miserable for the common people, have no place in today’s world. People of Jammu and Kashmir are well aware of these things now. Family Raj and liars They cannot be deceived by promises. People of J&K associated with this kind of family raj politics are coming forward to join hands with our party, but we rejected them because they are the ones who believe in separatist ideology. and used to instigate people against good governance,” Sheikh said.

Sheikh said that it is inspiring and encouraging to see people from all walks of life joining the party to strengthen the party on the ground and make it a viable option.

Despite the first day of Ramzan, many Shaikhs, including mainstream political leaders and social workers, joined the JKNPF in the presence of party patriarch Sanjay Kumar.

The party leadership said they rejected “many” forms of people who were directly or indirectly supporting separatism. The JKNPF insisted that such people would not be allowed in the party.

“We believe in peace, development, prosperity and do not want to deceive people with false promises and hopes. We can’t keep them in the dark. Our party believes in showing the way where everyone can imagine a peaceful Kashmir,” said party patriarch Kumar.

He further said that the JKNPF aims to “work for the future of Kashmir where everyone can feel secure in their place”.

Those joining the JKNPF include Manoj Tandon, a Kashmiri Hindu, hundreds of youths from north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, Mufti Nisar and Qari Ashraf. The party said that the many women and youth who participated in the occasion indicate that the people of Kashmir are marching towards a new beginning and change.
