WASHINGTON: China is engaged in biological activities with potential dual-use applications, raising concerns about its compliance Biological and Toxic Weapons Convention (BWC) and chemical weapons convention (CWC), pentagon said in its recent report.

It also said that China is investing in and expanding the number of its land, sea and air-based nuclear delivery platforms and building the necessary infrastructure to support this massive expansion of its nuclear forces.
Beijing is also supporting this expansion by increasing its capacity to produce and isolate plutonium by building fast breeder reactors and reprocessing facilities.
