TV actress and mother of minor complainant has been granted anticipatory bail in the Pearl V Puri alleged rape case. The senior actress was made an accused in the POCSO case.
In a report published in TOI, the actress’s lawyer confirmed the news and said, “The interim relief of my client has been confirmed by the Hon’ble Sessions Court. My client has been made an accused in the POCSO case and hence contacted It is the court. My client has cooperated in the investigation and made his point. The court has confirmed the order on the basis of the documents.
Earlier, TV actor Pearl Puri, who was arrested for allegedly molesting and raping a 5-year-old girl, was granted bail on June 15.
Pearl was arrested on 4 June 2019 for molesting a minor girl on the sets of his TV serial. Following a complaint from the victim’s family, Puri was arrested by the Waliv police, following which he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Sensation in the entertainment industry.
The alleged molestation incident for which Pearl was arrested took place in 2019 during the shooting of her television show Bepanah Pyaar. The girl is the daughter of an actor who co-starred in Pearl.
