PBKS vs CSK, IPL 2022 Live Updates

Dhawan has been a faithful servant of Indian cricket, having been the first-choice Indian opener for many years. After he was dropped, he showed his class in the Indian Premier League with Delhi Capitals, registering back-to-back hundreds for the first time in the history of the league. His unique feat was matched by Jos Buttler in the 15th edition of the IPL.

The opener has been exceptional with the bat in the last two editions of the Indian Premier League, scoring more than 400 runs in both seasons. Even in the current season, Dhawan has 207 runs from the first seven matches.

Notably, on Monday, Dhawan became the 2nd batter to complete 6000 runs in the IPL. He needed just 2 runs to achieve the landmark before the game at the Wankhede Stadium. He joined Virat Kohli in the elite list in the T20 tournament.

The left-hander was playing his 200th IPL match and he switched gears after a sluggish start.
