As per reports, the actor himself decided to put the projects on hold and there are chances these may not go on floors even in 2025.
Since June, actor-cum-politician Pawan Kalyan has been busy with his political commitments after swearing in as the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh. While his victory became a source of great joy to his fans, his responsibilities have halted his work on several of his highly-anticipated future projects. Here are details related to updates on two of the projects.
Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming projects include the films OG, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Although there have been several updates on the production stage of OG, the latter releases are reportedly on hold at the moment. According to the reports, the actor himself decided to put the projects on hold. There are chances it might not go on floors even in 2025.
Going by more reports, the director of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Harish Shankar, has assured that the film is “definitely” in the works. Delving into recent updates related to the project, Harish Shankar has reportedly made some changes to the film’s script, specifically the second half.
On the other hand, the producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, A M Rathnam, stated that the film is expected to resume soon, as per the reports. It states for both releases, only one-and-a-half days of call sheets are required. The makers of both the releases are awaiting dates from their lead, Pawan Kalyan.
Coming back to OG, the film was initially supposed to be released on September 27 but got delayed to next year due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. The film is now looking for a March 2025 release but official confirmations are yet to be made.
OG is being made under the direction of Sujeeth, also the writer. The cast includes Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das and Prakash Raj among others. It is being produced by D V V Danayya under the banner of D V V Entertainment. Thaman S has been roped in to handle the music while the cinematographer is Ravi K Chandran. And the editing is done by Naveen Nooli.
